Your 2024-25 NFL MVP will be ...

The NFL season starts today and with that, all sorts of predictions come in. This article is the first of a series where we predict every major award for this upcoming season. We will be going over our pick for the most valuable player, and our dark horse pick.

Dark Horse- Jared Goff

Jared Goff is our dark horse pick for the MVP spot for multiple reasons. For starters, he was second in the league last season in passing yards with 4,575, only behind Tua Tagovailoa. Also, he was fourth in passing touchdowns with 30, along with being eleventh in QBR and ninth in passer rating. Goff loses none of his top guys from last year and players like Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam Laporta are only going to get better and better.

2024-25 MVP-Joe Burrow

We believe that this year is Joe Burrow's season for the taking. Now, he is coming off a right wrist strain last season that sidelined him for most of the season. But, Burrow is quoted as saying, "This is the best I've felt entering a Week One since Week One of my rookie year. In his last fully healthy season, Burrow threw for 4,475 passing yards, 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Burrow also led the team to the AFC Championship game, where they eventually lost to the Super Bowl Champion Chiefs.
