Spencer Steer has been playing red-hot on the Reds right now, and fantasy managers who either picked him up or drafted him are rejoicing. As of right now on April 11, he leads the league in RBI's and has been clutch for the Reds in at least two games this year in helping them get the win. He has been making his case to be a breakout star, and why you need to trade for him right now.

In 12 games with the Reds this year, Spencer Steer is batting .372 with a OPS of 1.192. He also has a league leading 15 RBI's and 10 runs scored, along with 3 home runs. He is easily the best player on the Reds right now and the best first basemen, third basemen, and outfielder for fantasy baseball, where he is listed at all three positions. Steer is having a even better year than last season, where he got sixth in the rookie of the year voting for the National League.

The reason that Steer has made his case to be added onto your roster is his consistency, which is needed for fantasy baseball. He is now rostered in about 94% of leagues, so the odds are he isn't in free agency right now. But, we suggest that you make a trade for him. Another reason that he is so great for fantasy is his flexibility. He can play third base, first base, or outfield, so just put him right into your weakest position, and its covered. He has about 120 fantasy points so far this season, which is miles ahead of the pack. He is also averaging about 10 points per game, which is just incredible. The only person who has more fantasy points than Spencer Steer this season is Mookie Betts. Other than that, Steer is in second across all players in the MLB in points, so he has made his case to be traded for.

Some players we would try and trade for Steer right now would be Cody Bellinger, Marcell Ozuna, or Jarren Duran. All of whom are either outfielders or DH's, and have been playing well to start this year, just not on the level that Steer has been playing at. We suggest Bellinger or Ozuna more than Duran for a trade, just because of their name value being higher, than Duran's or even Steer's so the other manager would be more likely to accept the trade. If you have Steer on your roster though, only try and trade him if the other owner gives you a deal you cant refuse, some guys you would like a trade Steer for are guys like Corbin Carrol, Kyle Tucker, or even Ronald Acuna Jr., if managers are angry that they aren't playing as well as they should. Anyways, the moral is that Spencer Steer is carrying teams across the globe right now.
