Why you should trade for Julio Rodriguez right now
Julio Rodriguez is the twenty-third ranked outfielder right now, which is a slow start for him. He is only averaging 2.4 points per game, and he only has about 70 points this year. But, the time is now to trade for him since his trade value is at an all-time low.
This season so far, Rodriguez has been posting a batting average of only .265, with 30 hits and just 3 home runs. He is in a major slump to start off the year and it is not looking good for him. Last season, Rodriguez batted .275 with 32 home runs and 103 RBI's, which is miles ahead of what he is projected for this season. But, his last two seasons with the Mariners have shown us that he is capable of any comeback, especially the one he will have in the nect couple of weeks.
Some players we would trade for Julio Rodiguez are guys like Taylor Ward, Jurickson Profar, and also Jarren Duran. Taylor Ward has been playing excellent this year so far, but we dont expect this to keep up. For more insight on this, view Why William Contreras and Taylor Ward need to be traded immediately. As for Jurickson Profar and Jarren Duran, they are both ranked as the 4th best outfielder in fantasy, and for the rest of the year they will both still play good, just nowhere near the level that Julio Rodriguez.
For all three of these guys, we would try and trade them for Rodriguez straight up and the manager will most likely accept it. Other players will work too such as Cedric Mullens, Michael Harris, and Tyler O'Neill. Regardless, Julio Rodriguez is about to tear the leage up these next couple of months, and you will be glad you listened to us and traded for him.
