Why Rome Odunze could be the best fantasy wide receiver in this draft
Rome Odunze is the projected third wide receiver off the board in this years NFL Draft, and the wideout from Washington has the potential to be the best receiver off the board. He helped carry Washington to the National Championship last season, but can Rome Odunze carry your fantasy team to the playoffs or even the fantasy championship this season?
Last season at Washington, Odunze had 92 receptions for 1,640 yards or a 17.8 average. He also had 13 receiving touchdowns to go along with those impressive statistics. All of these stats led his team, while leading Washington to the National Title game against Michigan. In the NFL Draft this season, he's projected to go seventh overall to the Titans, who are in need of a receiver to pair alongside Calvin Ridley. If he goes into this Titans offense, he will be the second receiving option, and the Titans will be pass heavy this year with the loss of Derrick Henry, we project Odunze to play stellar this upcoming season.
We project Odunze to play very good for a rookie this season, as we have him being around the 35th best receiver, but with the upside of a top 20 receiver even. Our projections for him around 1100 yards and 12 tocuhdowns, and we think he will be better than Malik Nabers, and maybe even Marvin Harrison Jr. is he starts out slower. Rome Odunze could be a league winner for you this year if he goes onto the Titans, but you just have to know where to draft him.
