Why Cade Otton is a top-5 tight end this year
Cade Otton has put up week after week of great games, and this past week is no exception. With Mike Evans and Chris Godwin's injuries, he is now the top pass catcher on the Buccaneers along with Jalen McMillan. To check out his potential, see this article. Should you pick up Jalen McMillan? But, this is about Cade Otton, not McMillan.
Over the last eight weeks, Otton has 36 catches for 344 yards and three touchdowns. In the last two weeks without their top two receivers, Otton has gotton 10 targets each game. In those two games, he has put up 18 and 29.1 fantasy points. The sky is the limit for Otton now as Godwin is out for the year and Evans is out for another two weeks.
So, will Cade Otton be a top-5 tight end this year? Currently he is sitting as the sixth best right now, but if his last three weeks have shown anything, it's that he can easily be atleast top-3. And even though his roster percentage has been exponential, there is still about 25% of leagues where he isn't. So, pick him up or trade for him if you have the chance, but you need to know one thing. Get Cade Otton on your roster before it's too late.
