Why Alex Bregman is about to go off

Over the past couple years Alex Bregman has been a popular name for best 3rd baseman, but this year has been different. Over the year so far Alex Bregman has 86 fantasy points and is averaging 3.3 fantasy points so far this season. This is awful for Bregman given he was drafted in the top 40 of all fantasy players this year.

But I can sense a comeback coming with a very hot streak from Bregman coming soon. Yesterday Bregman had 13 fantasy points including a home run and the game before yesterday he went 2/4 with 2 singles, an RBI, and a run scored. This is definitely a start to Bregman confidence booster and it should be enough for him to get a nice hot streak started and potentially be the best 3rd baseman to end the season.

Alex Bregman has been hitting a terrible .216 batting average on the year with only 1 home run, but in the last 7 days Bregman has flipped the script and batted a .261 batting average with a home run on top of that. If you have to trade an injured Gerrit Cole, or someone like Fransico Lindor or Yandy Diaz to get Alex Bregman than I suggest that it is definitely worth it.
