Sleeper Picks for the PGA Championship
The beloved major PGA Championship is on this week, and the players with the best odds are obvious: Scottie Scheffler, Brooks Koepka, and Rory Mcllroy. But, on PGA Tour Fantasy, you can only use a certain golfer three times in the entire season, so those players might not be of use to you. But, we will be going over three guys that are "driving" under the radar that you can use.
Akshay Bhatia
Akshay Bhatia is playing the best golf of his life, and no one seems to be noticing. Bhatia is currently ranked 21st in FedEx Cup points out of all golfers, but yet he is only rostered in 39% of fantasy teams this week. Bhatia already has his first career win this season at the Valero Texas Open. He has only missed the cut four times, and has made six consecutive cuts. He is a great pick for this Valhalla course, and a great addition to your team.
Jake Knapp
Jake Knapp has participated in 17 total events, and he has made the cut in 12 of them. He is currently ranked as 52nd in the Offical World Golf Ranking, and 26th in FedEx Cup Points. He also has one win this year, at the Mexico Open. Knapp is a great driver with having an overall top-30 driving statistics on the tour, and this course is great for players that can bomb the ball down the middle of the fairway, which Knapp does perfectly.
Michael Block
If Michael Block can use his voodoo magic to somehow get top-15 in one of golfs biggest tournaments, then we wouldn't be surprised. After all, Block did the same thing last year at the PGA Championship, finishing 15th. The Head Professional is now appearing in his sixth total PGA Championship and looks to beat his last years score of +1, or 281. If Block goes off this week, don't say we didnt warn you.
