Russell Wilson's fantasy outlook in 2025

Earlier this week, Russell Wilson signed with the New York Giants on a somewhat surprising move by them. He signed on a one year, $21 million contract with $10.5 million guaranteed. This officially ends the Russell WIlson eras with the Steelers, but now it's time to start a new era with the Giants. In this article, we are going to be breaking down his fantasy value and where you should pick him in this year's draft.
Last season with the Steelers, Wilson appeared in eleven games, threw for 2482 yards, 16 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Overall, it seemed like a pretty average season for Wilson. He did "lead" the Steelers to the playoffs, and we put the quotation marks around it because it was mainly Mike Tomlin who led them to the playoffs. Wilson led them as much as Doc Rivers led his team when they were up 3-1 in a series.
So, where should you draft Wilson this year? We have him around our 30th best quarterback, which means that unless you are in a 14+ man league, you shouldn't draft Russell Wilson. The 10x Pro Bowler's prime is past him, and he just isn't going to get it done this year on the Giants. We still don't even know if Wilson is going to start this year for the Giants, as they could still take someone in the draft and at the very least, he has to beat out Jameis Winston.
