Fantasy Player of the Week - 4/26
Gunnar Henderson
Gunnar Henderson played electric this week. He had a total of 57 fantasy points this week with a huge game of 32. In this game, he went 3/3 with 3 runs scored, a home run, three RBI's, and also a stolen base. This week he's batting .375 with 2 doubles, a triple, and two home runs. He also has 5 RBI's.
Henderson is listed as the number one third basemen this year, and last week was a big help to it. This season, Henderson hs shown his true potential while batting .309 with 8 homers and 30 hits. He has almost 200 points so far this year, and his dominance will not be stopped.
Luis Castillo
Now on the other hand the most deserving award of the pitcher of the week goes to Luis Castillo. He had 33 and 14 this past week. All of the Mariners pitchers are electric this season. But Castillo has been the weak link after his slow start to the season with games of -9 and -10.
Castillo then has had games of 5, 33, 14 since. In his game against the Rockies, he pitched 7 scoreless innings, aloud 2 hits, and one walk. He also had 9 strikeouts which is just incredible. He ended that game with 33 fantasy points and the win. Castillo seems to be coming back into his former self, and the Mariners pitching is going to be scary.
