Fantasy Baseball Player of the Week- Week of 6/9

06/09/2024

Heliot Ramos

Heliot Ramos might be one of the best waiver wire pickups of the season here, so you need to pick him up soon. In this last week, he has been batting .500 with a OPS of 1.712, which is just incredible. In this span, he has also had four home runs, 10 RBIs, and 11 hits.

Ramos in the last week had an unbelievable 84 fantasy points in H2H leagues, which is 54% of his total fantasy points for this season. He is only rostered in 14.7% of leagues, but that number is increasing rapidly so you might want to pick him up.

Jake Irvin

Jake Irvin is also kind of a nobody in the baseball world, but he has strung together two impressive performances to earn him the title of Fantasy Pitcher of the Week. In these performances, he has had 12 innings pitched, a 2-0 record, 10 strikeouts, a 1.50 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP.

Irvin as well as Ramos could both be stellar waiver wire pickups if you are in need of players that are on a hot streak. Irvin is only rostered in 17% of leagues, so he could be another snag oppurtunity. This week, he has had 38 fantasy points across two performances for an average of 19 points per start.
