Fantasy Baseball Player of the Week- 4/19
Tanner Houck
The fantasy pitcher of the week was Tanner Houck. Houck had just one start this week, but he pitched insane in it. He pitched a complete game, only gave up 3 hits, and struck out nine Cleveland batters. In nine innings, he only had 94 pitches, which is just insane. Also, an incredible 64% of his pitches were strikes.
This performance from Tanner Houck was legendary for fantasy, and it may of won some teams the game. Houck had an impressive about 44 points this week, all coming from that one start. He is only rostered in about 62.5% of leagues this season, so if he is in free agency, we would hghly advise to pick him up.
Amed Rosario
In the last seven days, Amed Rosario has had an incredible 75 fantasy points, which is more in the last seven days than guys like Julio Rodriguez and Bo Bichette have had all year. He topped this off with an impressive performance on Sunday, where he had 23 points and went 3/4 with a home run and two RBI's.
Amed Rosario in the last week has been playing stellar, but no one seemes to notice it. In the past week, he's had 12 hits, seven RBI's, and two home runs. But, he is only rostered in 12% of leagues. If you have the FAAB or waiver order, we would suggest to pick up Amed Rosario, as good things are to come of him.
