April's Best Fantasy Lineup- Hitters Edition

05/03/2024

In this article we will be going over the best fantasy hitters from the month of April for every single positon that hits the ball. Some of these picks might be controversial to you, but they are overall the right picks. So, without further ado, lets get right into it.

1st Base- Josh Naylor

Josh Naylor has easily been the number one first basemen during the month of April. He is averaging about 7 points per game and has almost 200 points on the season. He's only batting .269 on the season, but he has seven home runs and also 24 RBI's. He's been a make or break player this season, but in the month of April, he's been making your team way better.

2nd Base- Jose Altuve

Jose Altuve is the best second basemen in fantasy, and also the best second basemen in the MLB. Although the Astros have been less the great this season, Altuve has been the one bright spot on that team. He is averaging 7.5 points per game with a total of 225 points this season. In the last seven days, he has had 41 and is batting .300, which is lower than his insane .341 average for the season.

3rd Base- Alec Bohm

The best third basemen in the month of April has been Alec Bohm. He was battling it out with Gunnar Henderson, but Bohm barely got the edge on him. He is averaging around 7.4 points per game, which is the same as Henderson, but has played in more games and has 12 more points then Henderson in the month of April. He has 237 points on the season, and in the last seven days he has an outstanding 67 points, which is about 9.6 points per game in the last week. Bohm will look to continue his reign as the best third basemen in May.

Shortstop- CJ Abrams

Once again, Abrams has also barely beaten out Gunnar Henderson, with just two more points then Henderson on the month. Abrams is averaging about 1 more point per game then Henderson, but has been benched in some games and hasn't played so their total points is closer then would be expected. He is averaging an insane 8.3 points per game this season, with a total of 224.

 Outfielder- Mookie Betts

Mookie Betts has been overall the best player in fantasy this season, and has easily been the best outfielder.  He is averaging more than one point then the next highest player. He has a total of 296 fantasy points on the season, with also averaging a whopping 9 points per game. He is batting .377 with six home runs and 49 hits. He also has 10 doubles on the season and has been carrying the Dodgers lineup.

Designated Hitter- Shohei Ohtani
